Adiós Michael Jackson the Legendary King of Pop

Was surprised this morning while I’m on my way to grab my breakfast, I heard over the radio, “…. Michael Jackson was admitted to UCLA and is in coma …” wow didn’t expect to get such news in the early morning. But what really shocked me is when I returned from my quick breakfast, and when I’m on my way to my office, the DJ announced “… Michael Jackson has passed away…” Whutttt? So I switched to the next station “… Michael Jackson the King Pop has passed away …”
Oh My God … I can’t believe this… Just a moment ago, he was in coma, and 10 mins later he is dead? The guy who:-

1. Famous for his moonwalk
2. Did incredible dance moves with his ever famous MJ hat … psss: the crotch grabbing moves
3. Always with very tight tights
4. Squeals in highest pitch “Aww Aww “
5. With single sequined glove
6. Did his then MTV in the 80’s like Bollywood movies now – watch his 80’s MTV …
7. Jumps up a little on his toe with funny leg position…\\ //
8. Suddenly turned white

So the next thing to confirm that the news is real, all the three top English radio station is playing Michael Jackson’s song non-stop!!!!

I guess, today must be the day that MJ’s song was played the most in ONE DAY. I wonder will it be recorded in the Guinness World Records?

Hope he is now in a better place … Rest in Peace …
His Music and Legacy will live on Forever ~~

Pssss: I used to be very afraid of MJ when I was little… Remember his ever famous MTV and he looks like a Zombie? Thriller?? I thought he was really turned into a zombie. I just watched back the MTV was laughing out loud when the group of zombies doing funny synchronized dance move aka robotic move...

He will be remembered ... unless YouTube is sucked into the virtual black hole ...poowfff ..

Early celebration - A night to remember!

Wow... another year flew by very quickly. And I'm going to be 26 soon!! I can say this year going to be another new milestone for me. It's going to be a new me doing new stuff, hopefully a crazy one. I won't mind... Well how many more years I have until I reached 30?? So, it's time for me to put it all out...

Well this year's celebration is pretty much the same with J... We had it a day earlier... We went to Gonbei for my favorite Wagyu @ Gonbei ... yummyyy... Since it's hard to get Kobe beef here in KL, I guess, Wagyu beef still can do the deed... Erm, but when J called up for reservation, they only have Buffet style over the weekends... but we still can order ala-cart which is the all mighty Wagyu... Chomp Chomp ...

So we reached there and escorted into the restaurant in style, as always ... (this was my second time here)... Well, seems like we are the first one here... The first thing we did --> ORDERING WAGYU ~~ the dish itself is already RM200+ ... buffet was RM 80 per pax... and I can tell you it's worth than Tenji or Jogoya... Why? Because they serve the best food in the best quality... Read me : Quality not Quantity... Although the choices were not as many as Tenji or Jogoya, well when we said Japanese Buffet, Gonbei meant it... strictly Japanese dishes. Why I said worth it? Because they are serving the foods that you can find in their menu which simply cost RM30-60 for one tiny portion - read me - a portion not a set. And we can have a lot of it now ... heehee... For those who've dined in Gonbei before you should know the price... you won't walk out of there without paying 400+ for 2 person at least? But of course it includes the all mighty Wagyu beef... ngeek ngekk...

So back to my unforgettable nite of my life... As I mentioned, we were the first one who arrived. Well, guess what, we are the ONLY patron of the night!!!! The whole restaurant is just me and J. Having buffet!! The crews were great and friendly. And it feels like the entire crews are serving just me and J... hehe... it feels awkward thou... But come to think of it, well, we have the entire 5 stars restaurant on our own... heehee ...

This is my all mighty Wagyu beeeeeef....

Dear J, next year I want Matsuzaka Beef!!!

FYI it is way more delicious than Kobe beef ... J told me 1 slice will cost around RM1.5K .. and he had 2 slices in 1 night... it is unfair ... I want to have a bite too =P

The day I start reading

I must remember today. It’s a day where it changed me from what I am. Although it is nothing big, but it has the impact on me and this changed my perception… If you know me well, except reading text book during high school and university time, I don’t really read. Of course I do read magazines, but books? I have to admit, I bought quite a lot of books but all of it is just to ‘satisfy’ my room… I think it looks nice to have a few nice books lying out… I can say that I have never, never finished reading 1 book.

But it changed. It happens when I was doing my usual strolling @ one of the regular bookstore @ Pavilion. They are having some promotion on the Twilight Saga. So I took a look and thought of buying it as a collection. Since all the 4 books are available… Was considering to buy all 4 or just 3… because I have watched the first movie. So I just bought 3 instead of the whole set. During the nite, I started to read the second book. New Moon. To my surprise, I was unable to stop reading .. WoW.

The historical city - Beijing

It was much more chiller than your freezer ... Okay, first thing i realise, is the air smells ... secondly, the sky is in GREY color ... GREY ... I didn't believe it until I see it with my own eyes ..

After checking in @ Motel 268, we start our journey to the famous Forbidden City ... We walked from the motel till the city ... I kept WoW'ing all the way and re-calling all the TVB scence that I used to watch from the emperor emperor drama/Movies.



This is my first time knowing that PuYi was the last emperor of China! and all the concubines got their food distributed according to their level!!! You will get more food if you are a Gui Fei ... and girls were selected as a concubine since age of 13-17!! and from the picture, they looks much younger than 13 =.='' they looks like 8 years old girl ...



We walked from noon till they closing time ... it is very tiring ... cut the story short, the following are the selected pictures ... one more thing before I end this entry, we was STUCKED during the way out ... the army troop have to take down the China flag from opposite of the road back to the forbidden city ... so the way out was blocked ... :-( It was freezing cold out there n we have to stand till the ceremony is over ... :-(

For dinner we went to Qian Men for the famous Peking Duck ... that place is a nice place to take photos but it was too cold and my hands dont want to come out from my pocket .. keke ..
The whole dinner is only duck duck duck ... and a cold dish ... My feedback? it is so OILY~~~~ OILY ~~~ i dont want to take Chinese food anymore ..... it's like I've drank the whole tank of oil ... bwleeeeek ....

First impression ...

The weather is cold and windy ... one thing i realise, Shanghai folks do not wash their cars!! It's like they didn't wash it for 2 years!! all covered in dust... secondly the air condition is much worse than my trip to HK ... nevertherless, we still walk on the street like any other people ... breathing in dust !!

So the first thing I ever wanna do is to dine in @ CoCo Ichibanya!!! My all time fav curry rice back in Japan... they have outlets here in Shanghai... but their menu has been cut into half ... The spicy level is only half compared to Japan, they originally have spicy level up to 10!! Well, my last attempt in Japan was up till level 6 ... but now the max we have in Shanghai is only 5 :-( However, I still enjoyed it ... it's yummmmmy ~~~

Next, we walked towards Shanghai Tharn ...the view is awesome... AWESOME~~~ BUT that place smells horrrible, especially when you are around the plants area ~~ That place is not the same Shanghai Tharn that we saw from TVB old movies ... haha ... Then we bought tix to take the underground train to the next island to visit the Pearl Tower .. RMB 40 for one way train trip and RMB100 for the tower visit ... RMB 40 is very worth where the you can experience the lighting effects while you travels in the tunnnel ... very creative way to entertain you during the 8 mins journey to the opposite island... here's some shot ... it's a waste i didn't bring tripod ... ended up with this lousy shakey photos (T__T)'' or some photos taken with iPhone (-,-)

It's legal to call & SMS while driving if ....

Heard over the radio while driving back from work about MIX FM giving out tickets for SEX IN THE CITY preview screening & Cocktail party... and what we need to do is to call in and answer 1 question. Well, I decided not to call as I'm still driving. We always been told not to make phone calls or sending text messages while driving. And I wonder why the radio station here encourages their listeners to call/text them? You see, most of us only listen to the radio while we are in the car, and the DJ will always ask ppl to call in now, or send us SMS now .... SO now when you see your next car is on the phone, or texting, you'll know they might be doing it for radio station's freebies....

And yesterday, I purposely do not want to drive to work, so I can make the call around 7P, while I'm on the way back ... Well, I used 3 mobiles to make the call, all put into loudspeaker, toot tooot, tooot toooot... it's like having a mini 'tooot toooot' orchestra. in the car ... Sad to say, I didn't manage to get thru ... well i guess, 3 lines are not enough... must have at least 10 lines available to call up to a radio station!

Prints on your butt

Received a tempting text from La-Senza... They are having SALES and offering another 10% for ONE CARD holder. Well, there is no harm to drop by, and yes I did.

Bought some hipster....I'm kinda having some trouble selecting my own panty!! There are a lot of different prints on it and I don't know which one to select... >__<''

It came across my mind today; why should I be bothered choosing the prints? It's not that I can see it myself when i have it on, it's not for anyone else to see it either ... Kind of pointless thou ... But what I realize, we just love to buy nice things... I am ... I've spent 45 mins in there selecting and selecting and selecting ... To me, shopping is the best exercise regime ever... It trains your leg, your arms, and your patience

My gosh, my dear little car is drying me up ~~~ Time flies so fast …. It’s already 1 year …. YES, it’s 2007 now!!! It seems like I just get my car last week …. And now I have to prepare to pay for my car insurance … It’s more than RM 1,000 …. There goes all my hard earned money …. I wonder if I can save up some money for my future …. With my earnings now and my expenses, I doubt so…

My facial package left few more rounds, and I didn’t see any visible improvement yet … and I will surely buy another package after I finished up with Lancome …. I’ll go for Sothys next … even expensive ~~~ I hope I can see some visible improvement!! Apart from my face, I need to do something with my hair …. I never changed my hairstyle for more than a year … I’m so bored with it …. I wonder if the stylish is to plain with imaginations and creativeness…. All I need is to have some new improvement for my hair with the condition, I still want my hair to be black in color, straight and long … all they can provide is to trim a lil bit at the root … no patterns no new styles … boring …. Be creative people, creative …. Always think out of da box … the things that I hated the most is that when we pay for service we expect to get advice from the experts, not telling what I think… sometimes, we pay for opinions, not only for the service ….

Few days ago, I went to 1U Missy Nails … you know what, I will never ever going back there again, even if it is FREE !!! And my advice? Strongly not recommended to visit Missy Nails. NEVER. Here goes my story …. Once I stepped in, 3 lady staffs were sitting there STATIC … not even any greetings from them… so, fine, next I’m looking for colors… I ask for recommendation, and she said it depends what color you like…. I know what color I like, I’m asking for recommendation …. I need new ideas… new colors to try on … dang ~~ fine she is not helping…. So I choose to have normal traditional French Manicure instead. Here it goes… I took the Spa package … while she is preparing and I set my butt on one of the station… still another 2 ladies, sit like they have no backbones…. So now the manicurist, soak my hand into the spa bowl and the massages begins… and now I get to notice once she massage my hand a stroke, she rub it on her hand twice …. Wow…. Now I know why her hand is so soft… Next, applying scrubs… and again, she rub it on my hand once and twice on hers… It’s unfair !!!! Fine, am not looking at it anymore … I looked else where … One of the Chinese lady staff, were flirting on the phone… irritating …. *Phone ringing* …. My manicurist phone rang… she picked up, she is talking while serving me… my patience rate drops… She picked up calls for 2 times while scrubbing my hand… ergh … Next, the manicurist searching for the tool here and there walking here and there, at last she found all the tools… and now she starts to cut out the dead skins…. As she cutting my dead skin around my fingers, I get this very uneasy feeling … more towards scared feelings … as she is going for my last 2 fingers, OUCH !!! She cut my finger…. It is so painful… and my finger bleed!! she gave me a stupid look… and I said it hurts!! Well, she apologized. Fine. So she continued, and her phone rang again, so pick up the phone and chat … this time long enough to gets on my nerves. My patience level drops to 0. She is on her phone twice while removing dead skins around my fingers. And now, she is even cut my inner nail flesh !!!! I screamed at her … and she tried to explain it wasn’t her fault… I said she shouldn’t cut my flesh … it’s my flesh …. A normal manicurist will know the depth limit of one’s finger is. I started to curse in my heart. She is lucky that I didn’t slap her on her face for cutting my flesh!! Bitch… This is the most poor manicure service that I’ve been to… never again in my life will go to MISSY NAILS !! and I’m going to spread my how unlucky trip to MISSY NAILS!! DO NOT VISIT MISSY NAILS, you pay to get hurt !!

Life lesson

I found an article which helps me a lot in dealing with my current situation! It called, "How to Cope with the Jerk at Work". If i found this 1 week earlier, I wont be so depressed and hurtful.

I have to admit, im a super sensitive streak! I'll take note on each of the tiny little things that people do sometimes... Well, i guess i need to keep reminding myself, the reason why i wanted to work here. There are things for me to learned & gained from here.

I love facebook~~~~ it's a better version of friendster.... im so totally switched to FACEBOOK now .... friendster is just so plain and boring compare to my new FACEBOOK !!! I love the application there esp the Graffiti Wall ... Weeee.... highly recommend friends to join facebook!!

Pneunomia

Was so shocked when the nurse called up today and asked me to go to the hospital once again becos the doc found something on my X-ray.... Well, when i reached there, the doc seems more nicer than yesterday where he was so serious .... he said there's a slight infective bacteria spotted on the x-ray... he said it was hard for normal doc to notice it becos it located near the rib bones.... it's a minor pneunomia ~~~~ can u imagine that?? I CAN'T !!!

the very intention for me to go to the hospital was becos of my fever and bone ache... i tot it was Dengue... ended up i told Dr Jaya that i kept coughing for 1 month + /// ended up he asked me to do blood test and x-ray ... so now i have to keep eating CURAM antibiotic for 8 days.... and will need to go back for follow-up on 27 July .... my half day leave gone ~~~ hope the infection will go away ~~~ go go go ~~~ shuuuu shuuuu ~~~~
